Create your business plan using AI Assistant

In today's fast-paced business landscape, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a key player in streamlining complex processes, including the creation of business plans.

By integrating AI Assistance, transforming how business plans are created. This feature simplifies the complex steps involved in crafting a strategic plan, offering personalized guidance to ensure that every plan is not only comprehensive but also uniquely aligned with the business's goals.

An AI assistant not only streamlines the planning process but also provides a level of customization and insight previously unattainable, making it essential for crafting a comprehensive business strategy.

AI features in Upmetrics:

• AI Assist: In the Describe Idea step, click AI Assist to have AI draft answers to the business questions (Who are your customers?, What problem are you solving?, and others) using your business description.



Add your  own custom questions and answers to further train the AI. These personalized inputs allow the AI to create a more accurate and relevant business plan. Additionally, you have the flexibility to remove any AI-generated questions that are not useful or relevant to your planning process.

• AI-Powered Suggestions: While setting up your Business Plan, the "Generate with AI" option becomes available. This feature utilizes the details you've input to create an outline and auto-fill sections of your plan, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive document.
• Interactive Feedback Loop: The AI continuously learns from the information you provide, offering suggestions and modifications to refine your business plan further.

Use AI during Idea setup:

After Setting Up Your Company, in the Idea setup you'll start with the Describe Idea step. Fill in:

• Website URL: Your business website. Upmetrics auto-fetches your business details and uses them to populate the next field.

• What does your business do?: A description of your services, mission, and target audience. Review the auto-populated text and edit it as needed.

Below those fields, answer the additional questions about your business (for example, Who are your customers? and What problem are you solving?). To have the answers drafted for you, click AI Assist and Upmetrics will fill them in based on the business description you entered above.

In the Business Details step, fill in the business-details sections shown for your business: Products, Customers, Location, Channels, Differentiation, Competitors, and the rest. To have answers drafted for every section based on what you've entered so far, click Suggest Answers at the top right.

When you're ready, choose one of two options:

• Generate Business Plan: Upmetrics' AI drafts the plan immediately. The preferences pop-up appears next; continue from there in the steps below.
• I'll explore first: Skip AI generation for now and open the editor with a blank plan. You can come back at any time and follow the steps below to generate.

How to generate your business plan with AI:

Open the Company from your Companies list. On the Company home page, click Business Plan to open the business plan editor.

Inside the business plan builder, click Generate with AI. Upmetrics uses the details from your Company setup and your Idea answers to draft a complete plan.

You'll land on a page showing the answers you provided during Idea setup. Review them and edit any response that needs updating. When everything looks right, click Next: Preferences to continue.

In the Preferences section you can customize your business plan by selecting preferences: purpose, writing tone, audience, and depth. Once you've set your preferences, click Generate Outline.

The AI generates an outline for your business plan. Review the outline and modify it as needed. Once the outline is in order, click Generate Full Plan.

A pop-up message will appear, stating, Setting up your business plan, indicating that the AI is actively working on generating your business plan.

Here is your ready business plan, crafted by an AI assistant, complete with all the necessary chapters. You have the flexibility to modify the text or chapters as per your requirements.
