Adding Footnotes to your Business Plan

In crafting a detailed business plan, clarity and credibility are paramount. Footnotes play a crucial role in achieving this, allowing authors to cite sources, clarify information, or add essential context without cluttering the main text.

We facilitate the integration of footnotes into your business plan, enhancing its professionalism and thoroughness. Whether you're referencing research, explaining assumptions, or providing additional data, footnotes can significantly elevate the quality of your document.

Steps to Add Footnotes:

1
While working on your business plan, pinpoint the text or data that requires a footnote for further explanation or citation. Look for the text editing toolbar that appears, which should include various formatting options.
2
Click on the option for inserting footnotes, which might be symbolized by a subscript blue number icon or explicitly labeled as “Footnote.”

After selecting to insert a footnote, type out our note, citation, or additional information in the designated area.
