How to create business plan version?

Plan Versions provide a powerful way to manage and organize different iterations of your business plan, allowing you to track changes, explore various strategies, and create secure backups for future reference.

With this feature, you can save multiple versions of your plan without the need to archive an existing workspace or create a new one without any cost.

This functionality is particularly useful when experimenting with different financial projections, market strategies, or business structures, as it enables you to revert to a previous version whenever needed. Whether you are testing a new revenue model, adjusting expenses, or preparing different versions for investors and stakeholders, Plan Versions help maintain flexibility and control over your business planning process.

With Plan Versions, you don’t need to worry about losing important data. Even if you reset your business plan, all previously saved versions will remain accessible in your Plan Versions section, allowing you to restore them effortlessly whenever needed.

This guide will walk you through the step-by-step guidance on how to create a business plan version.

Steps to create business plan version:

Open the business plan builder and Navigate to the Settings section.

Here, locate the Manage Plan Versions option and click on it.

A pop-up window will appear.

Click on the Create Plan Version button to initiate a new version of your business plan.

After clicking on it, Another pop-up will open, prompting you to Enter Version Title and a Version Description. This helps in the easy identification of different versions. 

Once all details are entered, click on the Create Version button to proceed.

If you check the Start a new plan setup after creating this version option, the system will save the current version and immediately redirect you to set up a new business plan from scratch.

If you leave this option unchecked, the system will simply create a version of your existing plan, which can be accessed later under the Manage Versions section.

To view your saved plan versions, go to the Manage Plan Version section.

You can select any version to Restore or Delete as needed.
